India
- India NDCs / 2022
India is committed to reduce its emissions intensity by 45% below 2005 levels by 2030, to increase the share of non-fossil power capacity to 50% by 2030, and to achieve net-zero by 2070.
The world's top five emitters—China, the United States, India, European Union, and Russia— produce over half of all greenhouse gas emissions worldwide, making up 53.69% of total emissions. In contrast, the bottom 100 countries account for just 2.9% of emissions altogether.
