Lebanon commits to unconditionally reduce its emissions by 20%, which could be a 31% reduction contingent on international support. Lebanon has committed to generate 18% of its electricity demand and 11% of its building sector heat demand from renewable energy sources by 2030. Additionally, Lebanon has a conditional commitment to achieve 30% of its electricity demand and 16.5% of its building sector heat demand from renewable sources by 2030.
